WATERFRONT GYM AND FITNESS STUDIO HAS:

  • NEW EXTENDED OPENING TIMES
  • NEW CLASSES
  • NEW MEMBERSHIP FEES

Opening hours for students:

  • Mon/Tue/Thu – 7am til 9am and 12noon til 1pm and 4pm til 7.30pm
  • Wed – 7am til 7pm
  • Fri – 7am til 9am and 12noon til 1pm and 3.30am til 6pm
  • Gym will be open throughout holidays with slight changes to opening times

Costs for students:

  • £5 per month (includes gym and classes in fitness studio)
  • £49 one off payment (includes gym and classes in fitness studio from September 2014 to end of August 2015)

Classes:

  • Studio Cycling –  Great for fat burning developing cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and muscular endurance as well as general health and wellbeing. As well as being suitable for all this class allows people of completely different fitness levels to ride side by side on stationary bikes in the safety of a dance studio and it burns loads and loads of calories (Approx. 900 Kcal/h)

Classes start from 15 September 2014:

Monday 5.15 – 6.00

Thursday 5.15 – 6.00

  • Zumba – The Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that has spread across the world. Zumba is a combination of fitness and dance moves to a fusion of Latin and international music. It is a fun and easy to do "feel-happy" workout that's great for both your body and your mind and is great for weight loss, toning your muscles, increasing cardiovascular fitness and improving coordination.

Classes will start from 17 September 2014:

Wednesdays 4.15 – 5.00 and again at 5.15 – 6.00

  • Yoga Classes - A combination of Hindu philosophy, breath control, meditation and postures of the body, this combination of both mental and physical exercise is known to have many health benefits and relieves stress, improves flexibility and core strength and helps you relax.

Classes will start from 16 September 2014:

Tuesday 5.15pm – 6.00pm

Thursdays 12.15pm – 1.00pm

  • Fitness classes will run in term time only
