Kirklees College, Huddersfield Centre - Open on Monday 31 March 2014 

Following the power supply problems that occurred on Friday 28 March, the Huddersfield Centre, Waterfront Quarter building will be open and operational on Monday 31 March. Work to fix the situation has taken place over the weekend.

Staff and students

Staff will be expected in work as normal. 

There will be a delayed start for students of 10am to ensure that the building is fully operational.

Foundation Learning

Students in Foundation Learning who have specialist transport arrangements should come in as normal but those students who are independent travellers should come in at 10 am.

Exams

Students with an exam starting at 10am (start of first exams) should come into college 30 minutes before the exam is due to start.

All exams will take place as planned and students should arrive 30 minutes before their exam is due to start.

Other centres

All other college centres (Dewsbury, Batley School of Art, Engineering, Highfields, Brunel House, Taylor Hill, Hargate Hill) will be operating as normal.
