SWIPE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATIONAL FROM MONDAY 30 SEPTEMBER AT THE WATERFRONT CAMPUS

Student access:

Entry to the college through the atrium on Level 0 is the primary access point for all students.

From Monday 30 September the access gates will be on.

All students will need to wear college ID at all times to keep the building secure and to gain access around the building.

Foundation studies and hair and beauty students will be able to use the dedicated entrances to these areas.

An agreement is also in place so that students on floors 1 - 4 of A Block may use the access gates by the main entrance on level 1 of B Block. Other students will not be able to use this access point and should enter Block B via the atrium to stop congestion at this small access point and to avoid the LRC on level 1 becoming a thoroughfare.

The Street access:

The street will be accessible without the use of an ID card:

  • From 8am until 3pm – Monday to Friday
  • From 8am until 4pm – Friday

Outside of these times the doors at the top and bottom of ‘The Street’ and the disabled route from canal side (level -2) will have access control on them.

Not carrying ID?

ID card not working?

Please report to main reception in the atrium (level 0).
