Calling all designers, makers, bakers, artists, photographers, up-cyclers or anyone else who is creative... this is your opportunity to show everyone what you are made of!

Kirklees are currently accepting applications for the Easter Alternative Market on 4th April, 11-5 St Peters Gardens. (Application form attached)

It is a platform for young people to showcase their creative talents and to make money!

Become an Alternative Market Trader

A number of half stalls will be allocated free of charge to people (up to 19) under the Teenage Market campaign. For people 20-29 there will be a cost of £10 for half a stall £15 for a full stall plus an additional £5 for power. The costs for catering (hot food) will be £30. If young people 19 or under would like a full stall there will be an additional £10 charge.

Become an Alternative Market Performer

Are you a singer, rapper, dancer, performer, comedian - on your own or in a group?... then this is your chance to show everyone what you can do!

If you are aged 13-29 you can book a stall or run a workshop in the creative zone by applying at www.kirklees.gov.uk/alternative

The deadline for applications is 20th Feb.

For further information, they have also created a Facebook Group: Kirklees Alternative Market – which is a place where you can find out about any events, grants, support available to you, and share tips and help each other to make your business grow.

If you need any further advice or help – I am also more than happy to support.

Thanks
